Abstract

1. Un método para fabricar una red de plástico para envolver y estabilizar una carga sobre una paleta, por arrollamiento de la red a su alrededor caracterizado porque comprende extruir una resina sintética constituida por una poliolefina o una mezcla de poliolefinas, preferentemente seleccionadas entre polibutileno, polietileno o etileno-acetato de vinilo, configurando una red en forma de banda continua mediante unión integral en las intersecciones de una serie de cordones longitudinales extendidos en la dirección de arrollamiento de la red y separados a intervalos transversalmente con respecto a la banda por una serie de cordones transversales, también separados a intervalos longitudinalmente con respecto a la banda, cuyos cordones longitudinales son elásticos con el fin de que puedan estirarse y aptos para conservar un grado sustancial de elasticidad durante un periodo de tiempo relativamente prolongado, siendo apta la red para envolver la carga dispuesta sobre la paleta, extendiéndose los cordones longitudinales de la red en la dirección de envolvimiento y estirándose cuando la red envuelve la carga, fijándose la red en posición sobre la cara con los cordones longitudinales así estirados, con los que se sujeta la carga, permitiendo la red la ventilación de la carga.
