Abstract

Procedimiento para producir tiosulfato cálcico de alta pureza, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de: (a) poner en contacto una disolución acuosa de tiosulfato amónico con más de 1,0 y menos de 1,10 la cantidad estequiométrica de óxido cálcico o hidróxido cálcico para formar una mezcla de reacción; (b) mantener la mezcla de reacción a una temperatura de entre unos 25ºC y el punto de ebullición de la mezcla de reacción durante un período de por lo menos unas 3 horas; (c) eliminar continuamente, de la mezcla de reacción, el amoníaco formado; y (d) recuperar el tiosulfato cálcico de alta pureza producido.
