Abstract
Procedimiento continuo de solidificación y de granulación de brea, que tiene un punto de reblandecimiento comprendido entre 65 y 120ºC KS, por enfriamiento de brea líquida con agua, caracterizándose este procedimiento porque se distribuye la brea líquida, a partir de un tubo de alimentación sumergido en agua, a través de una serie de tubos de pequeño diámetro dirigidos hacia arriba, que desembocan en el agua, de donde sale formando bolitas, se separan las bolitas de los tubos mediante cuchillas rotativas, que giran alrededor de un eje horizontal, que empujan a esta bolitas fuera del tubo de alimentación, y se deja que las bolitas, así separadas, se enfríen en el curso de una caída libre en el agua.
