Abstract

Un aparato lavador de pasta de madera que comprende una banda perforada movible a velocidades variables y situada sobre una serie de rodillos de tal manera que se forme una sección de trayectoria superior sustancialmente horizontal, una caja de carga situada sobre la banda en un extremo de dicha sección de trayectoria para distribuir una suspensión de pasta de madera en licor de pulpa agotado sobre dicha banda perforada móvil y una pluralidad de dispositivos de descarga de líquido de lavado situados encima de la banda para descargar líquido de lavado sobre la parte alta de la pasta que está en la banda, caracterizado porque una campana separable está situada sobre al menos una parte de dicha sección de trayectoria superior de la banda, una pluralidad de receptáculos de parte superior plana está situada horizontalmente debajo de la parte de la sección de trayectoria superior de la banda cubierta por la campana, teniendo dichos receptáculos y una longitud que se extiende transversalmente a labanda y que excede de la anchura de la banda, los receptáculos están situados uno junto a otro de tal manera que sus superficies superiores formen una superficie sustancialmente plana debajo de dicha banda con un cierre sustancialmente hermético entre los receptáculos en su superficie superior; los receptáculos comunican con la cara inferior de la banda por aberturas previstas en sus superficies superiores, la campana forma un compartimiento sustancialmente cerrado de modo hermético sobre dicha parte de la banda y los receptáculos unos dispositivos de descarga de líquido de lavado están situados dentro de la campana transversalmente a la dirección de movimiento de la banda y espaciados uno de otro para descargar líquido de lavado sobre la aparte alta de la pasta que esta sobre la banda, unos medios de extracción de gas están dispuestos para retirar gasas y vapores de la parte superior de los receptáculos , unos medios generadores de presión están previstos para generar una diferencia de presión suficiente entre dicho compartimiento de la campana y los receptáculos para forzar al líquido de pulpa agotado desde la suspensión de pasta y al líquido de lavado descargado sobre la pasta que hay en los receptáculos , unos medios de extracción de líquido están previstos para retirar líquido de la parte inferior de los receptáculos de tal manera que el nivel de líquido en los receptáculos sean controlado, y unos medios de transporte están previstos para transportar líquido de lavado retirado de los receptáculos a dichos dispositivos de descarga de líquido de lavado de tal manera que el líquido de lavado sea descargado sobre la pasta sucesivamente una pluralidad de veces.
