Abstract
Procedimiento para la soldadura alumino-térmica de elementos de acero austenítico al manganeso, que contiene en peso, de 10 a 20% de manganeso, de 0,5 a 1,5% de carbono y de 0 a 5% de níquel, caracterizado porque comprende (a) precalentar los extremos de dichos elementos que han de ser soldados entre sí (b) formar un molde, cuyo material de cuerpo es predominantemente un material sin silicio, alrededor de los extremos de los elementos © colar un acero alumino-térmico fundido en la cavidad del molde, cuyo acero está esencialmente libre de fósforo y silicio, y (d) solidificar el acero fundido para formar una unión de soldadura entre los extremos de los elementos.
