Abstract
Bóveda de horno de fusión para hornos de fusión eléctricos cubiertos, caracterizada porque la bóveda que está formada de placas de acero, consta de una porción vertical o aproximadamente horizontal que están divididas en secciones, estando equipada cada sección, en el lado que mira hacia fuera del horno, con tubos soldados para refrigeración de las placas de acero, estando montados los tubos por soldadura completamente continua y dispuestos a una distancia mutua tal que la cantidad de calor que es evacuada de por resultado en la superficie del lado de la placa de acero que mira hacia el horno una temperatura de 150-400ºC.
