Procedimiento para la obtención de derivados de ácido glicólico de fórmula **fórmula** donde A significa un metal alcalino o el resto B-H donde B es una amina terciaria, R1 y r2 significan hidrógeno o alquilo, X e Y significan oxígeno o azufre y Z1 y Z2 significan halógeno, caracterizado porque sales del ácido glicólico de fórmula **fórmula** donde A, R1 y R2 y X tienen el significado arriba indicado, se hacen reaccionar con fenilisocianatos de fórmula ** fórmula** donde Y, Z1 y Z2 tienen el significado arriba indicado, en presencia de un diluyente.
