Abstract
Dispositivo para la aglomeración de partículas contaminantes de los gases de escape de un motor de combustión interna, tal como partículas de plomo, caracterizado porque el dispositivo comprende, en combinación: una cascasa externa (1) que tiene una sección transversal sustancialmente elíptica; primera y segunda paredes divisoras transversales (5, 6) en el interior de la carcasa (1), que dividen el interior de la carcasa en tres cámaras; una primera cámara extrema (7) , una cámara intermedia (8) y una segunda cámara extrema (9). una cámara de admisión (12) definida en el interior de la primera cámara extrema (7) mediante una pared tubular perforada (13) fijada a la primera pared divisora (5), presentanto esta última pared orificios (20) a través de los cuales comunica la cámara de admisión (12) con la cámara intermedia (8); un conducto de admisión (14) para los gases de escape que pasan a través de una pared extrema (10) de la carcasa (1) y desemboca en la citada cámara de admisión (12), llenándose el espacio anular comprendido entre dicha pared tubular (13) y la pared de dicha carcasa (1) con material poroso; un conducto intermedio perforado (17) que se extiende a través de la cámara intermedia (8) entre las dos paredes divisoras (5,6) y que comunica por un extremo corriente arriba con dicha cámara de admisión (12) , estando circundado dicho conducto intermedio (17) por una empqquetadura de material poroso; un conducto de salida (22) para los gases de escape que pasa a través de una segunda pared extrema (11) de la carcasa (1) opuesta al conducto de admisión (14) y fijado por un extremo a la segunda pared divisora (6), presentando esta última pared (6) y la pared del conducto de salida (22) del interior de la carcasa (1) orificios (21, 23) para el paso de los gases de escape.
