Abstract
Un baño de electrodeposición de cinc (galvanizado) no cianurado, ácido o prácticamente neutro, y un procedimiento de galvanización que utiliza dicho baño que contiene una cantidad efectiva de un agente abrillantador e igualador y que está constituido por un compuesto cuaternario soluble en el baño, formado por reacción de heterocíclicos con un agente alquilante seleccionado entre el grupo formado por sulfatos de dialquilo, alcanosulfonatos de alquilo y arenosulfonatos de alqu9uilo. El baño electrolítico puede contener además ventajosamente una cantidad efectiva de un poliéter como agente abrillantador del soporte y ácido metanosulfónico y sales de mismo como agente igualador de soporte. El mayor grado de igualación del depósito de cinc brillante de acuerdo con el procedimiento de esta invención se consigue dentro de límites relativamente amplios de pH y de densidad de corriente. La versatilidad y eficacia del agente abrillantador e igualador de esta invención permite el tratamiento mejoradode una alta variedad de artículos, requiriendo así sólo cantidades mínimas del agente aditivo para producir depósitos de cinc lisos y brillantes. l
