Abstract
Un método de fabricar un serpentín conformado de intercambiador de calor que tiene múltiples serpentines de fila única de longitudes variables de tal manera que, cuando se dobla un serpentín a una configuración deseada, las filas de serpentín estarán en el lugar apropiado, cuyo método se caracteriza por las operaciones de apilar una pluralidad de chapas de aletas conectadas de forma de placa, estando unidas entre sí dichas aletas por partes tabulares rompibles y teniendo dichas aletas aberturas para la recepción de miembros tubulares; enlazar las chapas de aletas de forma de placa insertando las pasas tubulares de los tubos de forma de horquilla a través de las aberturas de las aletas, dependiendo la longitud de las patas de cada tubo de forma de horquilla de la configuración final de los núcleos de serpentín deseados; expandir los núcleos de serpentín de fila única para mejorar la transferencia de calor entre los tubos y las aletas, actuando dicha expansión para romper las partes tabularesque unen las aletas individuales dentro de las chapas de aletas de forma de placa, permitiendo a lo largo de cada núcleo de serpentín; y doblar los núcleos de serpentín a la configuración deseada.
