Abstract

The explosion protected lighting fitting can be combined with a socket. This lighting fitting is used especially for signalling. This lighting fitting has relatively simple internal construction and it is readily installed. Potting compound is used sparingly and uniform light is produced. The support (11) for each light source (12, 13, 14) has a tubular base (22) for holding the lamp without shade. The cap (10) encloses the lighting fitting upper part. Connection between this cover and support is established by the potting compound. More than one light source can be held on a support and it is covered with a transparent cap. The lighting fitting inner parts are potted and have projecting conductors.
