Abstract
1.- Metódo de recocción de una serie de cargas individuales de acero silícico en un horno de túnel provisto de un vestíbulo de carga y otro de descarga en extremos opuestos del mismo, teniendo cada vestíbulo una puerta interior y otra exterior, cuyo método comprende la provisión de una serie de dichas cargas de acero silícico en el referido horno con las puertas interiores de los vestíbulos cerradas, la circulación de hidrógeno a través del horno entre las puertas interiores mientras las citadas cargas se están recociendo, pasando el hidrógeno hacia y desde el horno a través de un aparato reacondicionador, la colocación de una carga de acero silícico en el referido vestíbulo de carga, el cierre de las puertas exteriores, la purga de los vestíbulos con nitrógeno, la ulterior retirada del hidrógeno en circulación y su pase a los mencionados vestíbulos para purgarlos de dicho nitrógeno, mientras se suministra una cantidad sustancialmente igual de hidrógeno de una fuente del mismo al referido hidrógeno en circulación, a fin de mantener la presión en el horno sensiblemente constante, la siguiente apertura de las puertas interiores, la introducción de dicha carga fría en el horno y el paso de una carga recocida al vestíbulo de descarga, el cierre de las puertas interiores, la purga de los vestíbulos con nitrógeno, la apertura de la puerta exterior del vestíbulo de descarga y la retirada de la carga recocida del mismo, con la ulterior repetición de las citadas operaciones.
