Abstract

Una máquina para podar árboles o tallos y que comprende: un dispositivo sujetador (7) para sujetar el árbol o tallo en el curso de una operación de poda, estando dispuesto dicho dispositivo sujetador sobre una primera estructura fija en forma de bastidor (1,2,3); un dispositivo podador (13) idóneo para podar el árbol o tallo sujeto por el dispositivo sujetador (7), estando dispuesto dicho dispositivo podador sobre una segunda estructura en forma de bastidor (4,5,6) que es movible con relación a la citada primera estructura (1,2,3) y un mecanismo de accionamiento (8) para mover la segunda estructura en forma de bastidor (4,5,6) hacia atrás y hacia adelante con relación a dicha primera estructura (1,2,3), caracterizada por el hecho de que el dispositivo podador (13) se halla adaptado para, durante el movimiento de vaivén de la segunda estructura en forma de bastidor (4,5,6) , desplazarse hacia adelante y hacia atrás a lo largo de la referida segunda estructura (4,5,6) por medio de al menos una cadena o transportador (28) que se extiende sobre rodillos conductores (26,27) dispuestos sobre la mencionada segunda estructura (4,5,6) y que va unida (o) al dispositivo podador (13) y ya sea a la primera estructura en forma de bastidor (1,2,3) o a un emplazamiento (30) fijo con relación a la citada primera estructura en forma de bastidor, de tal forma que el dispositivo podador (13) se desplaza a doble distancia que la susodicha segunda estructura de bastidor con relación a dicha primera estructura en forma de bastidor durante el movimiento alternativo o de vaivén de la referida segunda estructura en forma de bastidor.
