Abstract

The machine has an arm pivoted about a central point. The central point is on a vertical axis which can rotate. The axis is supported on a base carried on rails. The base supports a C-frame. The top of the frame carries a counterweight assembly which is connected by a cable to the end of the arm. The counterweight is pivoted about a point on the frame and moves with the end of the arm. The end of the arm has a bucket wheel and the arm has a belt conveyor which ends in a discharge hopper.
