Abstract

Disposición para dividir la superficie libre de un cargamento líquido en un barco, especialmente aplicable a los barcos de carga general y a granel, caracterizada porque va acoplada amoviblemente a la escotilla y consiste en una o varias unidades que comprenden láminas metálicas (11, 12) conectadas entre sí y preferiblemente paralelas y verticales, que forman una pluralidad de pantallas paralelas o una pluralidad de compartimientos colaterales, cada una de cuyas unidades está dimensionada para ser montada en una parte o en toda la escotilla, y está dispuesta para ser colocada con las láminas metálicas (11, 12) en disposición substancialmente vertical en la escotilla, de manera que el borde inferior (13) de las láminas metálicas (11, 12) se sitúa por debajo de la superficie superior (C-C) de la carga líquida y de modo que el borde superior (14) de las láminas metálicas (11, 12) se sitúa en o por encima de la superficie líquida (C-C).
