Abstract

Nuevos derivados de piranoindol, a un procedimiento y a los intermediarios para la preparación de derivados, a métodos para utilizar los derivados y a composiciones y sales de los derivados aceptables en farmacia. Más concretamente se refiere a nuevos derivados de 1,3,4,9-tetrahidropirano(3,4-b)-indol o derivados de 1,3,4,9-tetrahidrotiopiran(3,4-b)-indol que tiene n una hidroxialcanamina o alcoxialcanamina inferior y un grupo de alquilo inferior en posición 1. Estos derivados son útiles como agentes diuréticos en un mamífero a dosis que no producen efectos secundarios indeseables. La combinación de estos atributos hace que los derivados de 1,3,4,9-tetrahidro(tio)piranol(3,4-b)-indol de este invento sean terapéuticamente útiles.
