Abstract
Perfeccionamientos en calderas nucleares de metal líquido caloportador, caracterizados porque comprenden una cuba que contiene el núcleo del reactor, las protecciones neutrónicas y sus dispositivos asociados y el metal líquido de enfriamiento, y una cobertura de gas inerte, colocándose la cuba en una envolvente de seguridad; al menos un intercambiador de calor exterior a la cuba para realizar un intercambio térmico entre el metal líquido y el agua en fase líquida y después vapor; medios de unión para poner en comunicación en un sentido y en el otro la cuba y el o los intercambiadores de calor; un depósito de almacenamiento principal unido a la cuba apto para recibir el metal líquido y el gas inerte; estando provisto el depósito de almacenamiento principal de un conjunto de conductos que consisten en al menos un primer conducto de rebosadero que pone en comunicación la parte superior de la cuba con el fondo del depósito, poniendo en comunicación al menos un segundo conducto de equilibrado depresión, la parte superior de la cuba con la parte superior del depósito principal de almacenamiento, estando provistos los conductos de válvulas de tal modo que en funcionamiento normal, el depósito principal esté en unión con la cuba por los primero y segundo conductos; un recinto constituido por celdas de atmósfera controlada que contienen los elementos de la caldera, y que asegura por una parte la protección biológica del personal de explotación y por otra la protección contra los daños eventuales procedentes del exterior.
