Un termointercambiador que comprende una pluralidad de placas termointercambiadoras (10; 30) dispuestas unas junto a otras y que forman entre sí pasos cerrados (11-14; 31-34) por los que pueden fluir dos fluidos termointercambiadores, caracterizado por que comprende al menos dos secciones (1, 2; 21, 22) de pasos termointercambiadores, teniendo los pasos de los dos fluidos respectivos en una de dichas secciones al menos resistencias al flujo esencialmente diferentes entre sí, siendo las proporciones de las resistencias al flujo de los pasos de una sección esencialmente diferentes de la proporción correspondiente de otra sección al menos.
