Abstract

Método para hacer funcionar un convertidor de acero que tiene un revestimiento antidesgaste básico formado por material refractario compuesto al menos parcialmente por magnesita calcinada, que incluye la operación de realizar el trabajo de mantenimiento con dicho revestimiento mediante rociado intermitente de material refractario sobre el revestimiento antidesgaste y/o recubrimiento interior con escoria mientras que el revestimiento antidesgaste está caliente, caracterizado porque las partículas de la componente de magnesita del revestimiento antidesgaste contienen en promedio más de 6% de monticellita.
