Abstract
Procedimiento de craqueo catalítico de hidrocarburos, en el cual una corriente de material de alimentación a base de hidrocarburo precalentado se pone en contacto con un catalizador de craqueo en una zona de craqueo en condiciones de temperatura elevada adecuadas para el craqueo, con el fin de producir un productos craqueado, y se pone en contacto un agente de pasivación con dicho catalizador de craqueo para reducir o eliminar los efectos perjudiciales de metales tales como níquel, vanadio e hierro presentes en dicho catalizador de craqueo, caracterizado porque se introduce el mencionado agente de pasivación en una corriente de fluido para constituir una corriente de pasivación a una temperatura inferior a la de descomposición térmica de dicho agente de pasivación, y se introduce la corriente de pasivación en dicha zona de craqueo para mantener el agente de pasivación sustancialmente exento de descomposición térmica hasta que dicho catalizador de craqueo entre en contacto con dicho agente de pasivación.
