Abstract
Un método para mejorar la absorción de las vibraciones de una vía de ferrocarril soportada sobre un lecho de balasto, más especialmente un lecho de balasto tendido en un túnel, en un paso elevado u otra construcción artificial, consistiendo dicha vía en carriles soportados por traviesas que se extienden en dirección lateral, caracterizado porque la vía es levantada en algunos centímetros; porque alrededor del borde de la superficie de soporte de las traviesas se retira el balasto que se encuentra por encima del nivel de dicha superficie; porque se desplaza una placa de material de absorción de energía de vibraciones entre la superficie de soporte del lecho de balasto y las traviesas, y porque, después, la vía es bajada de nuevo y, en tanto sea necesario, el balasto alrededor de las traviesas es llevado a la posición original o es suministrado nuevo balasto.
