Abstract
Método y aparato para la fabricación de embalajes reforzados que comprende el plegado doble de una hoja de cartón protector como una tapa de libro, juntándose tiras de papel por encolado entre las mitades en las áreas de ambos bordes laterales para cerrar los bordes del embalaje, teniendo la tira, por lo menos, una línea de doblado longitudinal, caracterizada porque durante la primera fase se encolan tiras continuas de papel a ambos bordes de una tira de cartón continua, de tal forma que las tiras de papel se extienden, en parte, más allá de los bordes de la tira de cartón y, por lo menos, alrededor de la mitad de su anchura mas allá del punto de encolado.
