Abstract
Un método para mantener el nivel del fluido en un recipiente entre límites superior e inferior predeterminados, en un sistema que incluye un recipiente lleno de fluido con un dispositivo de salida de fluido incluyendo una tubería de salida, para extraer el fluido de dicho recipiente y un dispositivo de entrada de fluido, incluyendo una tubería de entrada de fluido, incluyendo una tubería de entrada y un dispositivo de control de caudal de entrada en ésta, para inyectar fluido en dicho recipiente, caracterizado porque incluye las operaciones que consiste en: (1) prever unos primero y segundo canales de control de nivel de fluido que incluyen cada uno unos medios para detectar el nivel del fluido en dicho recipiente y para producir una señal de control de nivel de fluido indicativa de la posición de dicho nivel del fluido en dicho recipiente; (2) aplicar normalmente la señal de control del nivel de fluido del primer canal de control a dicho dispositivo de control de caudal de entrada, con locual se hace variar el caudal de entrada de fluido para mantener dicho nivel de fluido dentro de dicho límites superior e inferior; (3) se prevé una pluralidad de medios de supervisión de nivel de fluido, produciendo cada uno normalmente indicaciones separadas en el caso de que dicho nivel de fluido alcance dicho límite superior o dicho límite inferior; (4) aplicar dichas indicaciones a un dispositivo lógico de detección de mayoría que responde a dichas indicaciones procedentes de una mayoría de dichos medios de supervisión de nivel de fluido, dejando de aplicar la señal de control de dicho primer canal de control a dicho dispositivo de control de caudal de entrada y aplicando la señal de control de dicho segundo canal a éste, con lo cual el control del nivel de fluido en dicho recipiente es transferido automáticamente a dicho segundo canal en caso de fallo de dicho primer canal para mantener dicho nivel de fluido dentro de dichos límites superior e inferior.
