Un procedimiento para la purificación de silicio, caracterizado porque se hace reaccionar silicio en estado fundido con carbonato y/u óxido y/o hidróxido de bario y luego, después de enfriamiento y trituración, se lixivias con uno o más ácidos inorgánicos diluidos.
