Abstract
Procedimiento para la obtención de una pasta sintética para prótesis y reparaciones dentales, a base de metacrilatos, caracterizado porque, en una primera etapa, ésteres del ácido metacrílico o mezclas y ulteriores monómeros de vinilo, donde como mínimo un 2 % de los ésteres del ácido metacrílico y/o de los ulteriores monómeros de vinilo contienen 2 ó más enlaces dobles, se hacen reaccionar bajo agitación, según el procedimiento de polimerización en suspensión, a perlas de polímeros y, en una segunda etapa, el producto de la primera etapa se mezcla con aglutinantes polimerizables que contienen como mínimo un 50% en peso de ésteres del ácido metacrílico de alcoholes mono- o polivalentes, e iniciadores del endurecimiento, mediante amasamiento hasta obtener una pasta, debiéndose mantener una proporción de 50 - 75 partes en peso partes en peso del producto de la primera etapa, 25 - 50 partes en peso de aglutinante polimerizable y 0,1 - 5 partes en peso de iniciadores del endurecimiento.
