Abstract

Un procedimiento para fabricar un polielectrolito dispersable en agua que tiene un punto de reblandecimiento no sustancialmente superior a 125ºC y un índice de acidez comprendido entre aproximadamente 30 y 150, que comprende, hacer reaccionar una colofonia, un ácido carboxílico y un monoalcohol C1-C18 para formar un núcleo carbocíclico de colofonia que tiene al menos un grupo de ácido carboxílico y al menos un grupo de éster de ácido carboxílico de dicho alcohol, e ionizar el producto de dicha reacción con un agente ionizante volátil.
