Abstract
Procedimiento de extracción de uranio de ácido fosfórico, proveniente del ataque por el ácido sulfúrico de rocas fosfatadas uraniferas que comprende las fases siguientes de tratamiento:_-la puesta en contacto del ácido fosfórico con una materia adsorbente, - la separación de las materias solidas del ácido, y, como fase final, - la puesta en contacto del ácido con un disolvente orgánico con vistas a la extracción del uranio, caracterizado porque se añade yeso al ácido y se mantiene el ácido que contiene este yeso en movimiento durante al menos 15 horas aproximadamente antes de la puesta en contacto del ácido con la materia adsorbente, se trata el ácido por un floculante antes de separar del mismo las materias solidas, y se aumenta la estabilidad del ácido, del que se ha separado las materias solidas, bien sea calentandolo o bien diluyendolo.
