Abstract

Medios capaces de moverse sobre el agua para separar del agua una capa de petróleo, que comprende en un volumen semejante a una artesa, un lado del cual está abierto para recoger la mezcla de petróleo y agua, y en que dicha artesa contiene un aparato de transporte de la mezcla, tal como un transportador de cangilones, que alimenta la mezcla a la parte trasera de la artesa, en donde hay un conducto que se extiende hacia abajo, abierto en el extremo y que ha sido equipado con unos miembros de retirada del petróleo, caracterizados porque la profundidad del conducto es ajustable con el fin de controlar su volumen.
