Abstract
Una memoria de discos perfeccionada, que comprende un conjunto de discos de cabezas (conjunto HDA) y un conjunto propulsor o de accionamiento de discos; siendo dicho conjunto HDA separable unitariamente de dicho conjunto propulsor y comprendiendo por lo menos un disco magnético, un vástago para montar dicho o dichos discos, magnético, un vástago para montar dicho o dichos discos, un bastidor para soportar dicho vástago para la rotación de dicho o dichos discos en torno a un eje geométrico que es substancialmente horizontal cuando dicho conjunto propulsor, unas unidades de carro primera y segunda de traductores o cabezas magnéticas, cada una de las cuales unidades comprende una porción móvil de carro y una porción estacionaria de vía y por lo menos un miembro de brazo de cabezas fijado a cada una de dichas porciones de carro, unos medios de montar dichas porciones de vía en lados opuestos de dicho bastidor, con el fin de hacer que las respectivas porciones de carro se muevan a lo largo de unos trayectos paralelos que son normales o perpendiculares al eje geométrico de dicho vástago, paralelos a dicho plano horizontal y están dispuestos a lados contrarios de dicho o dichos, de tal modo que los respectivos miembros de brazo de cabezas pueden colocarse en posición, independientemente uno de otro, en relaciones de transducción con las caras o superficies opuestas de dicho o dichos discos, comprendiendo dicho conjunto propulsor una placa de base que tiene una sección recta de perfil en U en la cual está situada una parte de dicho conjunto HDA, por debajo de dicho plano horizontal cuando dicho HDA se halla en posición operativa en dicho conjunto propulsor, unos medios magnéticos o de imanes de bobinas de audio montados en dicha placa de base, unas bobinas primera y segunda permanentemente asociadas a uno de dichos conjuntos, y unos medios separados, acoplados entre cada porción de carro y una de dichas bobinas de audio, para producir el movimiento de dichas porciones de carro independientemente una de otra, en respuesta a unas señales separadas suministradas a dichas bobinas de audio respectivas.
