Abstract

Procedimiento mejorado para la preparación de diazinona, caracterizado porque se cicliza amída de ácido beta-isobutirilaminocrotónico con una cantidad de 1 a 1,2 veces la equimolar de una sustancia de la fórmula general NaOR, con R igual a hidrógeno o a un grupo alcohilo con 1 a 8 átomos de carbono, en una mezcla de 0 a 100% en peso de agua y de un alcohol con 1 a 8 átomos de carbono, a temperatura superior a 90ºC pero inferior a la temperatura de ebullición de la mezcla de alcohol/agua empleada, y el pirimidinolato sódico resultante se precipita con un disolvente no polar, inerte frente al alcoholato empleado, cuyo punto de ebullición es superior al del alcohol empleado, y se hace reaccionar directamente con cloruro de dietiltiofosforilo a una temperatura de 100 a 130º para formar diazinona.
