Abstract

Procedimiento de preparar gránulos estabilizados que contienen nitrato amónico, caracterizado porque comprende disolver, en una disolución acuosa de nitrato amónico que tiene una concentración de nitrato amónico de por lo menos 80% en peso, Mg(NO3)2 en una proporción de 0,5-3,0 % en peso, calculado sobre el nitrato amónico de la disolución, suspender carga mineral finamente dividida en una proporción de 0-45% en peso, calculado sobre el total del nitrato amónico y de la carga de la suspensión, rociar la disolución o suspensión resultante sobre núcleos sólidos mientras estos se mantienen en interrelación esencialmente espaciada en un lecho o masa agitados de partículas y en contacto con una corriente caliente de gas, mientras se mantiene la temperatura de los núcleos rociados entre 120º y 135º C, para depositar pequeñas gotas de la disolución o suspensión rociada sobre los núcleos y secarlos in situ mientras se elimina agua evaporada por medio de la corriente de gas, hasta que se alcanza untamaño deseado de grano, después de lo cual los gránulos resultantes se enfrían con la ayuda de un medio enfriador a una temperatura inferior a 50º C de tal manera que, en la gama de enfriamiento de 70º C a 50º C, los gránulos permanezcan substancialmente homogéneos en cuanto a temperatura.
