Carrete para el tendido de ropa que consiste esencialmente en un torno montado en el interior de una caja apropiada provista de medios de fijación y de una abertura conveniente enfrentada a aquel, cuyo torno tiene sobresaliente uno de los extremos de su eje de giro en el que lleva dispuesta una manivela cuya empuñadura está dotada de un elemento adecuado susceptible de quedar bloqueado en otro complementario situado en la pared correspondiente de la caja, yendo arrollado en el torno una cuerda o similar cuyo extremo libre sobresale por la abertura frontal de la caja y termina en un elemento de fácil engarce por el que se fija la cuerda.
