Abstract

Procedimiento para el precalentamiento y calefacción inicial de convertidores vacíos de decarburización de argón-oxígeno, en los que, por encima del fondo del convertidor está montado fijamente por lo menos un inyector consistente en una tobera de insuflación, para insuflar un gas de procedimiento y una tobera anular que rodea a esta para la insuflación de un gas protector, con una lizma de gas combustible-oxígeno, caracterizado porque la linea de combustible-oxígeno se forma mediante el inyector, suministrándose a este, gas combustible y oxígeno, estando interrumpido el suministro del gas de procedimiento y gas protector.
