DISPOSITIVO CENTRÍFUGO PARA ARRANQUE DE MOTORES MONOFÁSICOS, caracterizado esencialmente por estar constituido por un casquillo que lleva sujetas unas lengüetas de goma en cuyos extremos libres van correspondientes abultamientos, los cuales, debido a su masa, considerablemente mayor que las lengüetas que los unen al casquillo, y merced a la fuerza centrífuga originada al arrancar el motor, vencen la rigidez de dichas lengüetas tendiendo a buscar la posición más alejada al eje del motor con tanta más fuerza cuanto mayor sea su masa, venciendo la tensión de un muelle que oprime una pieza metálica que efectúa la apertura y cierre del circuito, quedando el motor por consiguiente en régimen de trabajo o reposo respectivamente.
