Abstract

Apósito higiénico femenino, que se caracteriza esencialmente por el hecho de estar constituido por una almohadilla de forma oblonga, de material esponjoso absorbente y de dimensiones convenientes a su finalidad, cuya almohadilla es de superficie convexa por una de sus caras mientras que por la opuesta es sensiblemente plana y se halla adherida a una lámina elástica impermeable, figurando en la aludida almohadilla unas prolongaciones extremas, cada una de ellas de longitud y anchura apropiadas, en cuyos terminales se han previsto orificios para la fijación del apósito existiendo además en la parte central de la propia almohadilla un hendido de contorno labiado que da lugar a una prominencia de perfil y magnitud adecuados para adaptarse a la región vulvar y determinar un tapón que, por su presión, impide la salida del flujo mensual.
