Un aparato para segar césped, auto-propulsado, caracterizado por que tiene: un armazón de soporte, rodamiento y guía para los órganos del aparato y para el propio aparato sobre el terreno; un motor de combustión interna montado sobre dicho armazón; un rodillo propulsor; un órgano segador una transmisión que desde el árbol de salida del motor comunica el movimiento de accionamiento al rodillo propulsor y al órgano segador; un juego de ruedas locas para él desplazamiento del aparato sobre el terreno; un depósito o recipiente para recibir la hierba cortada; y órganos de dirección y de mando en una parte del armazón constituida a modo de horquilla de guía.
