Abstract

Máquina eléctrica de coser, portátil, particularmente apropiada para coser bocas de sacos llenos, caracterizada por comprender un motor eléctrico (1) alojado en el interior de una caja protectora (2) provista de patas de apoyo (3), de un asidero (4) en su parte superior y de un amplio escote (2') en su parte inferior, llevando montados el árbol de dicho motor en ambos extremos sendos tornillos sin fin (9, 10), uno de los cuales (9) se halla acoplado por medio de engranajes reductores (11, 12, 13) y una biela (16) al eje porta-aguja (17) dispuesto horizontalmente por debajo del motor, en sentido paralelo al árbol del mismo y atravesando el escote mencionado (2'), al que imprime un movimiento de vaivén, en tanto que el otro tornillo sin fin (10) se halla engranado con un piñón (20) que acciona a un mecanismo de áncora giratoria (22) y corredera dentada (23) situado enfrente de la aguja (16) y que determina la recogida del hilo y el avance del tejido a coser.
