Abstract
Nuevo esparadrapo, caracterizado por el hecho de que está constituido por un soporte laminar, de material adecuado, tratado para ser semiabsorbente de líquidos, en el que en su cara en contacto con la piel del paciente, lleva dispuesto un estrato de un pegamento que se reblandece con la humedad, tal como glucosa pastosa en combinación con agar-agar, a la que se le ha añadido un producto higroscópico, tal como glicerina, para evitar el resecado de la glucosa, así como cualquier desinfectante y medicamento adecuado, cual esparadrapo, una vez aplicado a la herida, restañada y coagulada la sangre y formada la oportuna costra, puede ser retirado, previa humectación con agua por la cara exterior del esparadrapo, a fin de reblandecer el pegamento y así lograr desprender el esparadrapo de la piel y de la costra, sin arrancar ésta, ni pelo, vello o cabello alguno.
