Abstract

Un dispositivo portaherramientas aplicable a tornos cilíndricos, caracterizado por estar constituido por una pieza susceptible de fijarse al contrapunto de un torno cilíndrico mediante pernos de ajuste, sobre la cual se encaja otra pieza en cuya superficie cónica exterior existen alojamientos para diversas herramientas, de modo que girando dicha pieza un ángulo adecuado, queda cualquiera de ellas alineada con el eje del torno y por tanto en posición de trabajo, quedando fijada la posición angular de esta pieza móvil, con ayuda de un gatillo que actuando desde la pieza fija, puede introducirse en cualquiera de los alojamientos que en su cara interna lleva la primera en número igual al de herramientas, y asimismo con ayuda de otras tantas bolitas que se introducen en igual número de alojamientos de la pieza móvil. Esta, queda sólidamente unida a la pieza fija con ayuda de un perno roscado que la atraviesa por su eje, lográndose el avance del conjunto mediante una palanca que actúa manualmente sobre el eje del contrapunto.
