Abstract

"UNA VÁLVULA", caracterizada por que comprende, esencialmente, el conjunto constituido por un cuerpo de válvula provisto, por lo menos, de sendas superficies de asiento inclinadas, enfrentadas y simétricas que corresponden a la zona situada alrededor de los extremos internos de los conductos de entrada y salida del fluido controlado por la válvula, y, entre dichas superficies de asiento inclinadas existe una pieza desplazable de paredes igualmente inclinadas, simétricas y elásticas que son aptas para aplicarse contra las superficies de asiento antes aludidas, para una de las posiciones de la válvula, quedando accionada esta pieza desplazable por un mando -tal como un husillo movido por un volante-, de modo que la indicada pieza desplazable de paredes inclinadas y elásticas se aparte, acerque y se aplique elásticamente contra las superficies de asiento para abrir, regular y cerrar el paso del fluido a controlar.
