BASADO EN HACER CIRCULAR A CONTRACORRIENTE, EN UNA COLUMNA VERTICAL, EL FLUIDO CALIENTE A ENFRIAR EN ASCENSO Y UNA CORRIENTE DE FINAS PARTICULAS SOLIDAS EN DESCENSO, QUE ABSORBEN EL CALOR DEL FLUIDO ASCENDENTE QUE SALE AL EXTERIOR POR SU PARTE SUPERIOR, MIENTRAS LA MASA DE PARTICULAS SOLIDAS ES RECOGIDA EN LA PARTE INFERIOR Y TRANSPORTADA A UNA SEGUNDA COLUMNA, DONDE SE INTRODUCE EN LA PARTE SUPERIOR CON MOVIMIENTO DESCENDENTE Y EN CONTRACORRIENTE SE INTRODUCE UNO O VARIOS FLUIDOS QUE SE CALIENTAN EN EL RECORRIDO DE LAS PARTICULAS SOLIDAS AL DESCENDER, SIENDO TRANSPORTADO A LA PARTE SUPERIOR DE LA PRIMERA COLUMNA PARA REEMPEZAR EL CICLO. PARA LO CUAL UTILIZA UNA COLUMNA (1) CON UN DISTRIBUIDOR (9), UNA CHIMENEA (10) DE EVACUACION, UN CICLON (11), UN CONDUCTO (12) SUMINISTRADOR DE PARTICULAS SOLIDAS, UNA TOLVA (13), UN TRANSPORTADOR NEUMATICO (14), UNA COLUMNA (18) CON DIFERENTES INTERCAMBIADORES (19, 20, 21 Y 22) A LO LARGO DE SU ESPACIO.
