SE TOMA EN LA COLUMNA UNA FRACCION DEL LIQUIDO DE CHORREO, SE SOMETE LA FRACCION TOMADA A UNA DECANTACION DE FORMA QUE SE SEPARE UNA FASE ACUOSA QUE SE RECHAZA Y UNA FASE ORGANICA, ENVIANDO LA FASE ORGANICA A LA COLUMNA POR DEBAJO DEL PUNTO DE TOMA. LA SOLUCION ACUOSA INTRODUCIDA CONTIENE DE 0,1 A 20 POR 100 EN PESO DE UN COMPUESTO BASICO TAL COMO HIDROXIDOS, CARBONATOS Y BICARBONATOS DE METALES ALCALINOS Y ALCALINOTERREOS.
