PROCEDIMIENTO DE ELIMINACION DE AMONIACO EN AGUAS RESIDUALES. CONSISTE EN PULVERIZAR EL AGUA RESIDUAL QUE CONTIENE AMONIACO EN SU REACTOR CON GAS DE HUMO DE UNA BATERIA DE HORNOS DE COQUE A ALTA TEMPERATURA. OPCIONALMENTE SE INTRODUCE EN EL REACTOR EL VAPOR RESIDUAL MEDIANTE UN ELIMINADOR DE AMONIACO; EN CADA CASO, LA MEZCLA SE SOMETE A UNA REACCION-REDOX CATALITICA. EL HUMO DE GAS SE MEZCLA DE FORMA QUE LA CANTIDAD -NOX EXISTENTE EN EL GAS DE HUMO SE HALLA EN UNA RELACION ESTEQUIMETRICA CON LA CANTIDAD -NH3 EXISTENTE EN EL AGUA RESIDUAL O EN EL VAPOR. LA TEMPERATURA DE LA REACCION ES DE 250GC O MAS.
