Abstract
PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PREPARACION DE AGENTES DESULFURANTES PARA MASAS FUNDIDAS DE ARRABIO O DE ACERO. A PARTIR DE CAL Y COQUE, SE PRODUCE POR VIA TERMICA UNA MEZCLA FUNDIDA DE PARTIDA DE CARBURO DE CALCIO Y OXIDO DE CALCIO CON UN CONTENIDO DEL SEGUNDO DE 20 A 80 POR 100, QUE SE DEJA SOLIDIFICAR POR ENFRIAMIENTO PARA FORMAR UN BLOQUE O LINGOTE. SE TRITURA LUEGO HASTA UN TAMAÑO DE GRANO DE, COMO MAXIMO, 150 MM., Y UNA VEZ DESMENUZADO Y A UNA TEMPERATURA DE, POR LO MENOS, 400 C, SE LE AÑADE OXIDO DE CALCIO EN UNA CANTIDAD SUFICIENTE PARA QUE EL CONTENIDO FINAL DEL MISMO SEA EL DESEADO. ESTE CONTENIDO SUELE OSCILAR ENTRE EL 45 HASTA EL 90 POR 100 EN PESO. SE MUELE LA MEZCLA CON INTENSO REMOVIDO Y MEZCLADO, EN PRESENCIA DE NITROGENO O AIRE Y A UNA TEMPERATURA DE, APROXIMADAMENTE, 10 A 50 C, QUEDANDO LOS GRANOS REDUCIDOS A TAMAÑO DE 10 MM.
