CONSISTENTE EN PREPARAR LA COMPOSICION EXPLOSIVA EN SOLUCION ACUOSA, TRITURANDOSE EN UNA PRIMERA ETAPA UNA SAL OXIDANTE CRISTALINA SOLUBLE EN AGUA QUE CONSISTE PREDOMINANTEMENTE EN NITRATO AMONICO EN UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA SATURADA DE SAL OXIDANTE, EN PRESENCIA DE UN SURFACTANTE INHIBIDOR DEL CRECIMIENTO CRISTALINO QUE TIENE PORCIONES HIDROFOBA E HIDROFILA EN SU MOLECULA. EN UNA SEGUNDA ETAPA SE MEZCLA INTIMAMENTE CON EL SENSIBILIZANTE DE COMBUSTIBLE HIDROCARBONADO LIQUIDO INMISCIBLE EN AGUA LA TEMPERATURA INFERIOR A LA DE DISOLUCION DE TODA LA SAL OXIDANTE EN LA SOLUCON Y, VENTAJOSAMENTE, A LA TEMPERATURA AMBIENTE.
