PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE UN DERIVADO DE AZETIDINA DE FORMULA (I), QUE PUEDE SER UN ACIDO O UNA SAL Y/O UN ESTER, AMIDA, ALCOHILAMIDA, HIDRAZIDA O ALCOHILHIDRAZIDA DEL MISMO, EN LA QUE X ES CH2, CHR O CR2; Y ES CHR, CR2 O CHCO2H; Y Z ES CH2, CHR, CR2 O CHCO2H, PUDIENDO SER R UNO DE VARIOS TIPOS DE RADICALES. CONSISTE EN LA HIDROLISIS, CON UN ACIDO O UN ALCALI ACUOSO EN CONDICIONES SUAVES, DEL CORRESPONDIENTE COMPUESTO CIANO, CUYO ATOMO DEL NITROGENO 1 DEL ANILLO ESTA PROTEGIDO POR UN GRUPO ADECUADO QUE PUEDE SER SEPARADO; O EN LA ALCOHOLISI DEL MISMO, SOMETIENDO A REFLUJO EL COMPUESTO CIANO EN UN ALCOHOL, EN PRESENCIA DE CLORURO DE HIDROGENO.
