CONSISTE EN LA REACCION DE UN 4-(ALQUILTIO)-1NAFTOL DE FORMULA (II), EN LA QUE R TIENE EL MISMO SIGNIFICADO QUE EN LA FORMULA (I), CON HEPICLORHIDRINA, EN PRESENCIA DE UNA RESINA CAMBIADORA DE ION BASICA FUERTE, A LA TEMPERATURA DE REFLUJO; SEGUIDA DE LA REACCION CON ISIPROPILAMINA, DESPUESDE SEPARAR EL CATALIZADOR RESINOSO POR FILTRACION, EN PRESENCIA DE METANOL Y A LA TEMPERATURA DE REFLUJO.
