CONSISTENTE EN TRATAR LAS AGUAS RESIDUALES DE TENERIA, QUE CONTIENEN POR LO MEOS 0,7 POR 100 DE CR+++, CON BASE PARA OBTENER UN PH ENTRE 7 Y 8, CALENTANDOSE DICHAS AGUAS A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 30 GRADOS CENTIGRADOS Y LA DE EBULLICION, Y SOMETIENDOSE A FILTRACION CONUN FILTRO GIRATORIO, QUE FUNCIONA DE MODO CONTINUO. EL FILTRO ESTA PROVISTO DE UN TEJIDO FILTRANTE CON UNA PERMEABILIDAD AL AIRE EN LA GAMA DE 23 A 35 LITROS/DM2/MINUTO, A UNA PRESION DE 2 ATMOSFERAS. DE ESTE MODO, LA FASE ACUOSA EXTRAIDA DEL FILTRO ESTA SUSTANCIALMENTE EXENTA DE CROMO, CON LO QUE OBTIENE UNA TORTA SOLIDA, A LA QUE SE ADICIONA ACIDO SULFURICO PARA CONSEGUIR UN PH INFERIOR A 2,5, CON LO QUE, EN DEFINITIVA, SE OBTIENE LA DISOLUCION DE CROMO EN FORMA DE SULFATO CROMICO.
