SE EQUIPA AL GENERADOR CON UNA CAPA GENERADORA DE GAS, CONTENIENDO UNO O VARIOS COMPONENTES SOLIDOS GRANULARES O PULVERULENTOS, UNO DE LOS CUALES DEBE SER OXIDANTE, Y UN AGLUTINANTE QUE DEBE SER UN ELASTOMERO CON DEFORMACION TERMOPLASTICA, COMO, POR EJEMPLO, UN POLIMERO CON TRIPLE BLOQUE. A ESTE ELASTOMERO SE LE AÑADE UN DISOLVENTE Y SE LE MEZCLA INTIMAMENTE CON LOS INGREDIENTES SOLIDOS, AÑADIENDOLES REGULADORES O MODERADORES DE COMBUSTION, TODO ELLO A UNA TEMPERATURA DE 80 C. A LA SUSPENSION ASI OBTENIDA SE LE AÑADEN PLASTIFICANTES. POR ULTIMO EL DISOLVENTE ES ELIMINADO DE LA MEZCLA POR EVAPORACION BAJO VACIO O POR ASPIRACION, FORMANDOSE UN PRODUCTO SOLIDO GRANULAR.
