SE HACE REACCIONAR, A TEMPERATURA DE 20-300 C., PERFLUORO-2-METIL-2-PENTENO CON CLORO ELEMENTAL, EN PRESENCIA DE LUZ RICA EN ENERGIA Y CAPAZ DE DESCOMPONER MOLECULAS DE CLORO EN ATOMOS DE CLORO. LA REACCION PUEDE EFECTUARSE EN FASE GAS O EN FASE LIQUIDA. CASO DE TRABAJARSE EN FASE LIQUIDA, LA RELACION MOLAR PERFLUORO/CLORO ES 1/1-1,2.
